International News: China-Europe Railway Predicament
China-Europe Railway faces a “triple blockade”! MYU provides you with other more reliable alternative routes.

Many people still think the recent Poland border controls are just “temporary,” but the reality is far from simple! Beyond Poland’s “political provocation,” Russia Customs’ “ultra-long inspections” lasting up to two months, and the EU’s expanded scrutiny of “dual-use products” are forming a “perfect storm” targeting the China-Europe Railway.
Poland: “European Throat” Suddenly Tightened

In the early hours of September 12, the Polish Prime Minister lightly stated “for national security” and suddenly closed all railway border crossings with Belarus. No warning, no buffer, even moving trains were forced to stop outside the border - this is not a routine operation at all, but a long-planned political action!
It should be noted that over 90% of China-Europe Railway freight needs to enter Europe via Poland, especially the “European throat” Małaszewicze crossing, which handles 98% of transshipment volume. This blockade is equivalent to directly cutting off the logistics artery of the Eurasian continent.
At the front line today, over 300 trains and 30,000 containers have accumulated at the border, all containing urgent supplies:
- Chongqing’s auto chips - European automakers are waiting for them to resume production
- Yiwu’s smart home products - European supermarkets’ Christmas stock
- Shandong’s winter down jackets - will miss the selling season in a few more days
A freight forwarder revealed: losses from fresh food spoilage alone are nearly a million, not to mention high penalty fees. European customers don’t care about “political reasons” - contracts are in black and white, delays mean paying compensation.
Russia: “Soft Knife” Grinds Even Harder

Since October 2024, Russia Customs suddenly implemented “carpet inspections” on transit trains based on the so-called “Order No. 1374.”
Previously 24-hour clearance, now takes an average of one month. Inspection reasons are extremely absurd:
A batch of auto parts containing trace rare earths was suspected of being “military” and detained for three months - production lines forced to halt, clients sent compensation letters, penalty fees高达数百万.
Even worse, even if released, enterprises need to pay high detention fees. An enterprise calculated: three months of detention, costs 20% higher than cargo value - is this inspection? Clearly disguised charges.
EU: Expanded Scrutiny, “Security” Just an Excuse?

Since 2021, the EU has continuously strengthened “dual-use product” controls, but the scope becomes increasingly outrageous:
- Industrial sensors detained for one month due to containing europium (rare earth), need to confirm “whether used for military”
- Smart temperature control equipment deemed “possibly used for military surveillance” due to remote temperature adjustment, dragged for two months before release
Enterprise负责人愤慨: “Same products sold by European companies aren’t inspected, clearly targeting China!”
